Operation against C31K criminal organization in 22 provinces based in Ankara: 27 detained
In an operation coordinated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 27 of 32 suspects belonging to the C31K criminal organization, who were determined to be preparing armed attacks on schools, were captured.
Under the coordination of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous operations were carried out in 22 provinces, centered in Ankara, targeting the criminal organization named C31K. Of the 32 suspects identified as preparing for armed attacks on schools and making various crime-related posts, 27 were detained.
Details of the Operation
As a result of the work carried out by the Cyber Crimes Branch Directorate of the Provincial Police Department under the coordination of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 32 suspects evaluated to have operated within the new generation criminal organization named C31K were identified. The suspects also include 19 children in the judicial process.
Crime-Related Posts
It was determined that the suspects distributed obscene images of children on platforms such as Telegram, Discord, X, and YouTube, insulted national and spiritual values, burned the Turkish Flag, and shared images regarding the torture of animals.
Preparation for Armed Attack
During the examinations, it was detected that the suspects made posts indicating they were preparing for armed attacks against three separate schools located in three different provinces during the opening of the new education and training year.
Threat and Blackmail Actions
It was determined that the suspects made false denunciations by exploiting current events causing social sensitivity and the losses of well-known figures, and shared messages containing violence, threats, and blackmail in online groups.
Simultaneous Raids in 22 Provinces
In simultaneous operations carried out in 22 provinces based in Ankara, 27 suspects were captured. While digital materials seized during searches at the addresses were confiscated for examination, efforts continue to capture the fugitive suspects.
