Education and Career Beginnings
Born in Trabzon in 1954, Osman Akyüz graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences in 1977. He began his professional career as a Tax Inspector at the Ministry of Finance.
Albaraka Türk and Association Era
Joining Albaraka Türk Participation Bank in 1985, Akyüz served as General Manager between 1996 and 2002. Between 2002 and 2022, he served as the Secretary General of the Participation Banks Association of Turkey.
