Stating that the panicky atmosphere in the market has dispersed following the recent sharp movements on Borsa Istanbul, experts express that surpassing the 14,000 level is critical for recovery, while noting that certain sectors with strong fundamental outlooks may stand out.

Reasons Behind the Sales

Liquidity concerns emerging in certain funds are cited as one of the primary reasons for the sharp movements experienced on Borsa Istanbul in recent days.

It is stated that the pressure on alternative investment funds concentrated in specific stocks has increased following the Capital Markets Board's guide regarding investment funds.

Taken Measures and Institution Decisions

The evaluations of the Financial Stability Committee and the liquidity-enhancing moves by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey were effective in dispersing the fear in the markets.

The Capital Markets Board suspended operations in the funds of some portfolio management companies and decided to liquidate a large number of funds.

Technical Levels and Expectations

It is stated that due to high volatility, following technical levels has become difficult in the short term, but certain thresholds are important for recovery.

It is expressed that achieving closes above 13,700 and especially 14,000 levels in the short term will present a more positive picture technically.

Sectors That May Stand Out

It is emphasized that sector- and company-based movements, alongside the index, should be closely monitored in the upcoming period.

It is noted that banks, major holding companies, aviation, and telecommunication sectors with strong fundamental outlooks could gain an advantage in the upcoming process.
