A comprehensive survey conducted in France revealed that nearly eighty percent of young people aged 18 to 29 harbor anxiety about the future and hold current politicians responsible for the situation.

Scope and Details of the Research

An important survey was conducted by the Ipsos research company for the Jeunesse 2027 organization, which provides political proposals to candidates ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Conducted between June 26 and August 5 with the participation of more than three thousand young people aged 18 to 29, this study brought the perspective of the youth to light.

Distrust in Politicians and the Future

According to the data obtained, approximately eighty percent of young people experience anxiety about their future, pointing to politicians as the primary culprits of this negative picture.

Only twenty-five percent of the participants believe that political leaders are aware of the daily problems of young people and make decisions in their favor.

Leaving the Country and Purchasing Power Concerns

Nearly eighty percent of young people who cannot foresee a future for themselves in France consider leaving the country, and thirty-four percent of participants are making serious plans to do so.

Complaining about the decline in purchasing power and financial difficulties like society in general, young people think that participating in the elections will not change the current picture.

Ballot Box Tendency and Protests

Despite the current pessimistic picture, eighty percent of young people state that they want to go to the ballot box in the upcoming presidential election.

On the other hand, high school protests initiated by young people across France demanding better education conditions continue unabated for days with the support of different segments of society.
