The Istanbul Chamber of Commerce officially announced the retail price fluctuation data across Istanbul for August.
Number of Products Showing Increases
In August, compared to the previous month, prices increased for 175 of the total 336 main products included in the index.
Products Recording Decreases
During the same period, it was determined that prices decreased for 60 main products in the market.
Top Price Increase
The product with the highest price increase last month was exam preparation institution fees with an increase of 51.39 percent.
Product with the Sharpest Price Drop
At the top of the list of products whose prices decreased the most in August compared to the previous month was peaches, with a drop of 26.54 percent.
