Products with the highest price increases and decreases in September identified
According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, the highest increase in consumer prices in September was seen in the field of education, while the sharpest decline occurred in citrus fruits.
According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the highest price increase on a consumer price basis in September occurred in higher education with a rate of 25.79%. The sharpest price decrease was recorded in the fresh citrus group with a rate of 24.41%.
Products with the Highest Price Increases in September
According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, the highest increase on a consumer price basis in September was seen in higher education at 25.79%.
This item was followed by dates, figs, and tropical fruits at 23.31%, and accommodation services at 19.99%.
Other Items Showing Increases
Among the other products with the highest price increases in September were school buses with 16.04%.
Additionally, diesel increased by 12.93%, margarine by 12.23%, and gasoline by 11.55%.
Products with the Highest Price Decreases in September
Last month, the largest price decrease occurred in the fresh citrus category with 24.41%.
Citrus fruits were followed by other fresh or chilled vegetables at 17.62% and other fresh fruits at 13.12%.
Transportation and Other Cheaper Items
In September, international passenger transport by air experienced a price decrease of 12.96%.
Tuberous vegetables, personal vehicle rentals, fish, and domestic air passenger transport were also among the other items whose prices dropped.
