Real Sector Confidence Index data for September announced
According to September data announced by the Central Bank, the unadjusted index declined to 102.0, while increases were recorded in capacity utilization rates.
In line with the September data announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, the seasonally adjusted Real Sector Confidence Index showed an increase, while the unadjusted index registered a decline, and rises were observed in manufacturing industry capacity utilization rates.
Changes in the Real Sector Confidence Index
According to CBRT data in September, the seasonally adjusted Real Sector Confidence Index increased by 0.1 points compared to the previous month, realizing at 102.5.
On the other hand, the unadjusted Real Sector Confidence Index recorded a decrease of 0.8 points compared to the previous month, declining to 102.0.
Sub-items Affecting the Index
Assessments regarding the general trend, current total order quantity, total employment in the next three months, and total order quantity in the last three months had a positive impact on the index.
Conversely, assessments regarding export order quantity in the next three months, current finished goods stock, fixed capital investment expenditure, and production volume in the next three months pulled the index down.
Latest Status in Capacity Utilization Rates
The seasonally adjusted Capacity Utilization Rate across the manufacturing industry increased by 0.6 points compared to the previous month, reaching 74.1 percent.
The unadjusted Capacity Utilization Rate rose by 0.7 points compared to the previous month, reaching 74.2 percent.
