It was announced that 90 percent progress has been achieved in the comprehensive reconstruction efforts carried out in Hatay, one of the provinces most affected by the February 6 earthquakes.

Reconstruction Process

While it was stated that the number of independent units realized across Hatay has reached 196,000, it was expressed that a significant portion of these structures were built as social housing and for rightful beneficiaries.

Debris Removal and Damage Status

While the greatest destruction of the earthquake occurred in the districts of Antakya, Defne, İskenderun, Kırıkhan, and Hassa, it was recorded that the total amount of debris removed across the city reached 41.3 million tons.

Trade and Logistics with Syria

It was reported that trade to be conducted with Syria will be at the forefront of the region's new era economy, and the number of daily truck crossings at the Cilvegözü Border Gate has risen to 1,500.

Industrial and Infrastructure Projects

It was announced that the Hassa Organized Industrial Zone, established to strengthen the industrial infrastructure in the city and spread over an area of 1,347 hectares, will rank among the largest in Turkey.

Education and Health Investments

Within the scope of the reconstruction of educational and health facilities damaged in the earthquake, numerous schools and hospitals were completed and put into service.
