Purpose and Scope of the Meeting
The Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology held a meeting of the Expert Advisory Group to review, select, and determine the budget ceiling for science, technology, and innovation tasks for the year 2026.
In this meeting, tasks focusing on developing social solutions, particularly in the fields of economics, public policy, and financial management, were discussed and examined in detail.
Attendees of the Meeting
Associate Professor Phan Thi Bich Nguyet, Chairwoman of the Strategic and Policy Advisory Council and Head of the Expert Group, chaired the meeting.
The meeting was also attended by Nguyen Thanh Phong, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, along with numerous scientists and representatives of relevant units.
Evaluation of Research Topics
A total of 18 research topics in the fields of economics, public policy, and financial management were proposed for review, evaluation, and selection by the expert panel.
While 16 of these topics were recommended, official application procedures were carried out for 2 topics, which were meticulously addressed by the experts.
Experts' Approach to the Topics
During the meeting, the expert advisory group evaluated various proposed topics as novel, applied for the first time in the city, and possessing high implementation potential.
Additionally, the group focused on analyzing the content regarding the applicability of the research results of these topics and reviewing projects to prevent content duplication.

According to the Department of Science and Technology, conducting a comprehensive review of proposals regarding commissioned science and technology projects is of great importance.
These reviews ensure that the projects possess a strategic and high level of applicability while also contributing to the determination of the upper budget limit for related projects.
