Results of Non-State-Funded Science Project Evaluated in Dong Nai
The results of an eco-friendly manufacturing project focusing on recycled PU powder, carried out by Than Thien Material Company, have been reviewed.
The Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai Province evaluated the results of the project on manufacturing eco-friendly products using recycled PU powder, which was implemented by Than Thien Material Company without using the state budget.
Objective and Scope of the Project
The research project examines the characteristics and application potential of recycled PU powder in the production of eco-friendly products such as shoe soles, mattresses, elastomers, and sound and thermal insulation materials.
This study aims to contribute to reducing solid PU waste, increasing resource efficiency, and meeting circular economy as well as environmental, social, and governance criteria.
Technological Process and Trial Production
Representatives of Than Thien Material Company stated that they carried out the trial production of recycled PU powder based on the mechanical recycling line for polyurethane by-products established within the scope of the project.
The obtained results revealed that the PU recycling line operated stably on a pilot and semi-industrial scale, ensuring continuity and safety throughout the process.
System Performance and Standards
It was confirmed that the main equipment operated synchronously in accordance with the designed technical parameters, and the system maintained traceability and weight balance according to standards.
