Retail trade sector confidence index rose in September
According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, retail trade confidence increased in September, while the construction sector experienced a decline.
The Turkish Statistical Institute published the Services, Retail Trade, and Construction Confidence Indices data for September. According to the announced figures, an increase was recorded in the confidence of the retail trade sector.
Index on the rise in the retail sector
The report, prepared based on seasonally adjusted data, highlighted the state of the retail trade sector.
Accordingly, the retail trade confidence index increased by 1.1 percent in September compared to the previous month.
With this increase, the confidence index in the retail trade sector managed to reach a value of 111.3.
No change in the service sector
Within the scope of the announced September data, the confidence index of the service sector was also examined in detail.
According to the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, the confidence index in the service sector remained at the same level as the previous month.
Following this steady outlook, the service sector confidence index maintained its stability at a value of 111.9.
Limited decline in the construction sector
The only area that experienced a decline in the September confidence index data was recorded as the construction sector.
According to seasonally adjusted figures, a 0.2 percent decrease was observed in the construction sector confidence index.
Following this proportional decline, the confidence index of the construction sector fell to the level of 83.0.
