The Russian government announced that it has extended the export ban on diesel, marine fuel, and kerosene until October 31 in order to maintain balances in the domestic fuel market.

Durations of Export Bans

According to the official announcement made by the Russian government, the duration of export bans imposed on certain fuel types has been extended to maintain stability in the domestic fuel market.

It was reported that the current export ban on diesel, marine fuel, and kerosene will continue until October 31, while the ban on gasoline exports will last until January 31, 2027.

Attacks on Refineries

Ukraine's drone attacks on oil refineries in Russia have directly affected the country's energy infrastructure and production processes.

As a result of these attacks, a large number of facilities in the country have had to be taken in for maintenance work, while various restrictions on fuel sales continue to be applied in some regions.
