September Inflation Expectations Announced

According to the results of the September Inflation Expectation Survey conducted by AA Finance, predictions made with the participation of 20 economists project that the CPI will increase by 2.18 percent on a monthly basis and annual inflation will decline.

Survey Results and Monthly Forecasts

The results of AA Finance's September Inflation Expectation Survey were shared with the public and the participants' forecasts became clear.

The 20 economists participating in the survey projected that the Consumer Price Index will increase by 2.18 percent on a monthly basis in September.

Economists' monthly increase forecasts for September ranged from a low of 1.90 percent to a high of 2.60 percent.

Annual and Year-End Expectations

If the average expectation materializes at 2.18 percent, annual inflation, which was 31.51 percent in August, is expected to decline to 30.16 percent in September.

Additionally, in the survey, the average of economists' year-end inflation forecasts was recorded at 29.66 percent.

Date of Data Release

Official September inflation data, to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, is expected to be released on Monday, October 5.

The finalized realization figures for September will become clear following the official announcement by the Turkish Statistical Institute.
