September Service, Retail, and Construction Confidence Indices Announced
According to the September data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, confidence increased in retail trade while declining in the construction sector.

General Overview of Sectoral Confidence Indices
The seasonally adjusted confidence indices calculated by the Turkish Statistical Institute for September have been announced on a sectoral basis.
According to the released data, the indices remained unchanged in the service sector, increased in retail trade, and recorded a decline in the construction sector.
Confidence Index Unchanged in Service Sector
The seasonally adjusted confidence index in the service sector remained unchanged in September compared to the previous month, staying at the 111.9 level.
In this sector, business conditions and the expectation of demand for services increased over the past three months, while the demand expectation for the upcoming period decreased.
Increase in Retail Trade Sector
The confidence index in the retail trade sector recorded an increase of 1.1 percent on a monthly basis in September, reaching a value of 111.3.
During this period, business volume and sales along with sales expectations for the upcoming period increased, while a decline was observed in the current stock level of goods.
Limited Decline in Construction Sector
The seasonally adjusted confidence index in the construction sector decreased by 0.2 percent in September compared to the previous month, settling at 83.
While there was an increase in the current level of registered orders, the expectation for the total number of employees for the next three-month period decreased.
