With investments made in Turkey in recent years, the share of solar and wind energy in electricity generation has increased exponentially, breaking historical records.
Thanks to Turkey's recent investments in renewable energy, the share of solar and wind in electricity generation has increased significantly. The share of solar energy reached 11.6%, while the share of wind energy reached 12.1%.
