One-Year Condition for Spouse Excuse Appointments

Special principles have been determined for transfer requests to be made later by physicians who did not apply for a spouse excuse within the announced schedule.

It was announced that appointment requests to be made based on the existing spouse excuse will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the relevant regulation.

Evaluation Within the Scope of the Regulation

It was reported that these requests will be handled within the scope of Article 30 of the Ministry of Health Appointment and Relocation Regulation.

It was emphasized that, with the exception of health and life safety excuses, there is a one-year working requirement for excuses that existed prior to the appointment.

Requirement to Actively Serve

It was stated that in order for the relevant individuals to make a transfer request, the condition of having actively served in their current location for at least one year will be required.

It was conveyed that this established rule will apply to those who did not apply during the lottery schedule but will make a request after starting their duties.
