Siirt Airport Reopens for Flights with the First Service from Istanbul
Siirt Airport, which was temporarily closed to flight traffic, has reopened following renovation works and the first flight has been performed.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that Siirt Airport, where comprehensive renovation works have been completed, has been reopened to flight traffic and reported that the first landing was made by an aircraft taking off from Istanbul Airport.

Systems Prepared for Flight
Test, control, and calibration processes for the electronic and navigational systems carried out at the airport have been completed, making them ready for operations.
Comprehensive Structural Renovations Carried Out
Within the scope of the project, work was carried out in many areas such as the 3,135-square-meter terminal building, control tower, technical center, and perimeter security roads.
