Social Economy and Entrepreneurship Contacts Held in Yalova
Representatives of the Bulgarian Ministry conducted investigations on women's cooperatives and local production, hosted by the Yalova BAL-GÖÇ Association.
Representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Republic of Bulgaria visited Yalova within the scope of the "From Partnership to Impact" project to hold talks in the fields of social economy, entrepreneurship, and women's cooperatives.
Delegation Started Contacts in Yalova
A delegation consisting of Kalina Kancheva, Mariya Georgieva, and Hülya İsmailova, serving at the Northeastern Bulgaria Center of the Bulgarian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, arrived in Yalova.
The visits, hosted by the Yalova BAL-GÖÇ Association, aim to develop new projects between Turkey and Bulgaria.
Institutional Visits and Meetings
The Bulgarian delegation first visited Yalova Deputy Governor Ekrem Çalık in his office to receive information about the activities.
At the meeting held at the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, mutual presentations were made and potential areas of cooperation were evaluated.
Women's Cooperatives Examined
The delegation visited the women's cooperatives under the umbrella of the Yalova Women Entrepreneurs Association and examined production and local development efforts on site.
Within the scope of the program, Yalova Mayor Mehmet Gürel was also visited in his office, and civil society collaborations were discussed.
Cultural and Agricultural Events
The delegation members visited the Walking Mansion, one of the city's historical and cultural symbols, and received information.
Participation was provided in the planting event organized by the Yalova Municipality and the opening ceremony of the Yalova Aronia Festival.
