In a statement made by the Capital Markets Board, it was announced that special accounts have been opened to enable individuals who obtained exorbitant gains from sales prior to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund's liquidation decision to voluntarily refund these amounts.
Opening of Special Return Accounts
The Capital Markets Board announced that special accounts have been opened for individuals who made high gains from fund sales carried out prior to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund's liquidation decision to return these amounts.
Conditions for Transferring Refunds
In the written statement made by the Board, it was stated that the voluntarily deposited amounts will be included exclusively in the liquidation assets of the relevant fund.
It was expressed that these amounts cannot be transferred to another fund or account and will be used in the payments to be made to the participation certificate holders of the relevant fund within the scope of liquidation.
Authorized Banks and New Accounts
While T.C. Ziraat Bankası A.Ş. and Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. are among the banks where the refunds will be made, a step was also taken for exorbitant profits obtained from stock trading transactions on the stock exchange in addition to these accounts.
A General Share Return Account has been opened in the name of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund within Birleşik Fon Bankası to meet the demands of those who want to refund the exorbitant profits they obtained due to the stock trading transactions of partnerships traded on the stock exchange.
