Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı was a guest on the Anadolu Agency Sports Desk, where he made important statements regarding the team's squad restructuring, transfer efforts, economic developments, and club projects.

Squad Restructuring and Championship Target

Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı stated that he has begun implementing the promises he made to the black-and-white community, that the team is going through a serious restructuring process, and that the season's starting performance has exceeded expectations.

Emphasizing that they have no goal other than the championship, Adalı noted that nearly 30 players were sent away in 1.5 years and that they are proceeding with a brand-new squad that has almost entirely changed, alongside a new head coach.

Transfer Plans and Head Coach Italiano

Stating that they achieved 90 percent of their programs during the summer transfer window, Adalı expressed that head coach Vincenzo Italiano also has the championship on his mind.

Saying that they are planning reinforcements for names such as Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic during the mid-season transfer window, Adalı noted that Italiano has been impressed by the passion of the Beşiktaş community.

European Goals and Broadcasting Tender

Stating that their goal in the UEFA Europa League is to go as far as they can, Adalı reminded that they will play against Hapoel Beer-Sheva with spectators in the Georgian city of Batumi.

Regarding the broadcasting tender, he expressed that they have no intention of approving a figure below 500 million dollars and that the value of Turkish football is above these figures.

Economic Situation and Debt Management

Speaking about the economic structure, the Beşiktaş President stated that there is a night-and-day difference between the structure of 1.5 years ago and today's situation.

Noting that the club, which paid 50 million euros in interest in 2025, will pay 5 million euros this year, Adalı stated that they are making the debt sustainable through real estate projects such as the Dikilitaş project and land searches.

Adalı expressed that if Beşiktaş were to say 'close the shop' today, it would not owe anyone a debt and would even have money left in its safe, excluding real estate.

Facilities Development and Necip Uysal

Stating that infrastructure and facilities efforts continue with the Sancaktepe and Akatlar projects, Adalı added that he sees good managerial potential in Necip Uysal, who bid farewell to football this season.
