Khanh Hoa province aims to create a synchronized, open, and sustainable ecosystem by integrating innovation and entrepreneurship into a long-term strategy. This action is implemented as a concrete application of the Politburo's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, on the Development of Science, Technology, Innovation, and National Digital Transformation.
New Era Planning
The resolution has identified the need for strong policies to promote entrepreneurship in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. To implement this directive, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee has highlighted the necessity of rapidly developing the province's innovative startup ecosystem.
The Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has prepared a plan to implement the National Innovative Startup Strategy for the 2026-2030 period and develop the province's innovative startup ecosystem.
Future Targets
In the long term, the province aims to achieve a rate of one entrepreneur for every 10 people, one business for every 35 people, and approximately one new startup for every 5,000 people.
The province also aims to rank among the top 5 provinces and centrally run cities in terms of the Provincial Innovation Index.

According to Nguyen Thanh Ha, Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, this project contributes to creating a favorable environment to promote innovation and creative entrepreneurship in the province.
These efforts also directly support increasing the overall competitiveness of businesses operating in the region.
Current Situation and Data
According to statistics, Khanh Hoa has approximately 15,000 active businesses, more than 96,000 individual economic establishments, and nearly 2,000 new businesses established every year.
It was stated that the percentage of businesses engaged in R&D activities is very low, with only 14 out of the 15,000 operating businesses being science and technology enterprises.
