The fund meeting held in Beştepe under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with the participation of the economic management and heads of regulatory institutions has concluded, lasting approximately 3 hours.

Investigation and MASAK Process

With a letter sent by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to the Presidency of the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK), it was requested to obtain financial information regarding certain companies and their executives.

Companies and Financial Data

In the writ sent by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to MASAK on September 17, it was requested to examine data regarding Pusula Finans Holding AŞ, Tera Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ, Hedef Holding AŞ, and Bulls Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ, as well as the executives of their subsidiaries.

Arrest and Custody Decisions

Within the scope of the investigation, 19 suspects who were detained were arrested following their procedures at the courthouse, while two suspects were released under judicial control conditions.

Total Number of Arrestees

In the ongoing phase of the investigation, 8 more suspects were detained and 6 of them were arrested; the total number of arrestees reached 56.

Attendees of the Meeting

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, and the heads of Borsa İstanbul, SPK, and BDDK attended the meeting in Ankara.

Measures in the Markets

During the meeting, measures that could be taken against speculative movements that might occur in the markets and practices aimed at protecting the financial system were evaluated.
