At the panel organized by EKONOMİ Newspaper, the effects of technological transformation on companies' ways of doing business and investment decisions were evaluated under the headings of domestic production in robotics, the integration of artificial intelligence into management processes, and financing mechanisms.

The Business World in the Footsteps of Technology

Moderated by EKONOMİ Newspaper Editorial Board Chairman Dr. Şeref Oğuz, the panel evaluated the effects of technological transformation on companies' ways of doing business and investment decisions.

During the session, domestic production in robotics, the integration of artificial intelligence into management processes, and financing mechanisms that will enable technology companies to scale stood out as the main headings.

Domestic Production Move in Robotic Technologies

DOF Robotics Chairman of the Board Mustafa Mertcan emphasized the importance of control in robotic technologies, stating that instead of importing robots from China, they will produce their own robots in Turkey.

Stating that they have established a new factory for this purpose, Mertcan noted that they can eliminate high investment costs by offering robots through service models such as leasing rather than selling them.

Artificial Intelligence and Management Processes

Uyumsoft Chairman of the Board Mehmet Önder noted that Turkey is successful in digitalization regarding obligations to the state and entering the records, but this efficiency is not reflected in business management to the same extent.

Underlining that artificial intelligence should be seen as a management tool, Önder emphasized that artificial intelligence literacy is low in SMEs and human resources need to be prepared.

Venture Capital and New Investments

Letven Capital CEO Kamil Kılıç shared information about venture capital funds and the ecosystem in Turkey, conveying current developments in the sector.

Kılıç announced that they have made an investment of 8 million dollars in the field of Physical AI for projects where they can perform welding operations in shipyards with 43 robots in a dark factory.
