Tera Portfoy and Tera Yatirim Executives Arrested in Fund Investigation
Senior executives of Tera Portfoy and Tera Yatirim have been sent to prison in a fund investigation conducted on charges of Opposition to the Capital Market Law.
Erdin Özel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tera Portfoy, and Emir Münir Sarpyener, CEO of Tera Yatirim, who were detained within the scope of the fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, were arrested by the court they were brought before.
The Arrest Process of the Executives
The suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed within the scope of the investigation carried out for the crime of Opposition to the Capital Market Law, were referred to the courthouse.
While Tera Portfoy Chairman of the Board Erdin Özel and Tera Yatirim CEO Emir Münir Sarpyener were arrested, Farmagül Lafçı was released under judicial control conditions.
Scope of the Investigation and MASAK Review
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had requested the acquisition of financial data belonging to executives of various financial holdings and investment companies with a writ sent to MASAK on September 17.
The writ requested the examination of the full identity information of the company executives and their money and crypto asset transfers abroad starting from the year 2024.
