The Date for the New Era in Title Deed Transactions with the Secure Payment System Has Been Clarified
The official date when the Secure Payment System, implemented by the Ministry of Trade, will become mandatory in title deed sales has been announced.
The Ministry of Trade has determined the date when the Secure Payment System, prepared to make money transfers secure in real estate purchases and sales, will be implemented mandatorily.
Date Change in the Secure Payment System
A new date has been announced for the Secure Payment System, which aims to make money transfers between buyers and sellers safer in real estate sales. The Ministry of Trade set the start of the mandatory implementation as December 1, 2026, in order to complete the technical infrastructure and inter-institutional integration studies.
Postponed Process and New Calendar
The entry into force date of the system, which was previously planned to start on July 1, 2026, was postponed first to October 1, 2026, and then to December 1, 2026, with the latest announcement due to preparation processes.
Guarantees to be Provided by the System
Real estate expert Mustafa Hakan Özelmacıklı stated that the purpose of the system is to secure the title deed transfer and payment process at the same time. By carrying out the title deed transfer and money transfer simultaneously, it is aimed to reduce liabilities and risks.
