Three Scenarios on the Table for 2027 Minimum Wage Increase Rates
As increase rates of 20, 25, and 30 percent are being evaluated for next year's minimum wage, net figures have begun to be calculated.
Ahead of the 2027 minimum wage negotiations, three different increase scenarios—20 percent, 25 percent, and 30 percent—are on the table.
Current Minimum Wage Level
The net minimum wage valid for the year 2026 is applied as 28,075.50 Turkish Liras, while the gross minimum wage is 33,030 Turkish Liras.
20 Percent Increase Scenario
The first scenario on the agenda is shaped around a 20 percent increase, and if a raise at this rate is implemented, it is projected that the net minimum wage will be 33,690 TL.
25 Percent Increase Scenario
In the event that the 25 percent increase rate included in the second scenario materializes, it is calculated that the new net minimum wage will rise to 35,094 TL.
30 Percent Increase Scenario
In the 30 percent scenario, which contains the highest increase probability, the net minimum wage figure to be valid in 2027 is expected to reach the level of 36,489 TL.
Commission Meeting Schedule
It is projected that the Minimum Wage Determination Commission will convene in December to determine the 2027 wage and that the process will be completed by the end of December.
