Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar announced that the TR-2 Research Reactor located at the TENMAK Çekmece Campus has been relicensed and shared his targets regarding nuclear energy investments.

Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar publicly announced that the TR-2 Research Reactor, located at the Çekmece Campus of the Turkish Energy, Nuclear and Mineral Research Agency, has been relicensed.

Laboratory Studies Begin

Minister Bayraktar stated that after a long hiatus, nuclear research and tests will be carried out at the facility again in a short time, and theoretical studies will find application in a laboratory environment.
