Bilateral Meeting at the G20 Summit
Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat came together with Polish Minister of Finance and Economy Andrzej Domański as part of the G20 Trade Ministers Meeting held in Milwaukee, USA.
Trade Volume and Targets
Minister Bolat stated that the trade volume between the two countries reached a record level of 12.5 billion dollars in 2025, and noted that the target for the new period is 15 billion dollars.
Areas of Cooperation and New Forum
During the meeting, trade, contracting, investments, energy, transportation, logistics, the defense industry, and joint efforts in third countries were discussed in detail.
The parties reached an agreement to hold the sixth term meeting of the Turkey-Poland Consultation Mechanism and the Turkey-Poland Investment and Business Forum in the near future, hosted by the Ministry of Trade.
EU Relations and Customs Union
Relations between Turkey and the European Union were also evaluated at the meeting, and it was emphasized that improving the functioning of the Customs Union would contribute to economic integration.
