Erdoğan Bağlar, President of the Home-to-Home Transporters Association, announced that the business volume of the home-to-home moving sector in Istanbul has increased by 70 percent under the impact of urban transformation.

Urban transformation works, which have gained momentum in Istanbul, have directly driven up the business volume of the home-to-home moving sector. According to the statements made, significant mobility is being experienced in transportation and storage areas during this process.
Districts Experiencing High Density
It was stated that the activity in the sector is particularly concentrated in certain districts. Moving activities have reached their highest level around Bağcılar, Zeytinburnu, Avcılar, Kartal, Kadıköy, and Üsküdar.
Daily Moves and Company Information
It was noted that the number of daily moves across the city ranges between 4,500 and 5,000. Additionally, the information was shared that the number of licensed moving companies operating in Istanbul is approximately 1,500.
