Turkey Wealth Fund and Turkcell to Acquire TOGG Shares
As Vestel Elektronik and Anadolu Group prepare to transfer their 46% stake in TOGG, the Turkey Wealth Fund is becoming a partner in the company.
It has been reported that the Turkey Wealth Fund will become a partner in domestic automobile manufacturer TOGG and that current partners Vestel Elektronik and Anadolu Group will sell their combined 46% stake.
Share Sale Process
It was stated that the combined 46% stake held by Vestel Elektronik and Anadolu Group will be purchased by Turkcell and the Turkey Wealth Fund. While no official information has been shared regarding the sale price, it was reported that negotiations are ongoing.
Current Partnership Structure
In TOGG's current partnership structure, Vestel Elektronik, Anadolu Group, Turkcell, and BMC Otomotiv each hold a 23% stake. The remaining 8% of the shares belong to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.
Establishment and Financial Status
TOGG, which was established following President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's call for the production of passenger cars with domestic capital, is not a publicly traded company. According to the company's financial statements, the loss amounting to several billion liras last year decreased significantly in the first six months of 2026.
Sales Figures
TOGG achieved sales of 39,020 vehicles in Turkey in 2025. In the first seven months of 2026, the company increased its sales by 30% compared to the same period last year, reaching 25,848 units.
