Turkey's 2025-2026 Hazelnut Export Data Announced
Over the past year, Turkey exported approximately 198 thousand tons of hazelnuts, generating over 2.5 billion dollars in foreign currency revenue for the national economy.
According to data shared by the Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters' Association, hazelnut exports between September 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026, managed to remain at a significant level in terms of value, despite a decline in volume.
Current Status of Export Figures
Turkey closed the 2025-2026 hazelnut export season with a revenue of 2 billion 509 million 526 thousand 39 dollars. During this period, a total of 197 thousand 85 tons of hazelnuts were sold abroad.
Comparison with the Previous Season
Compared to the previous season, the export volume decreased by 111 thousand 979 tons, marking a 36 percent decline. In terms of revenue, a decrease of 49 million 14 thousand 865 dollars was recorded, representing a 2 percent drop.
