The opening of the summit, held at the KAYSO Conference Hall with the participation of industrialists and business world representatives, was made by KAYSO Board Member İlhan Baloğlu.

Speaking at the summit, İsmet Gergerli stated that Turkey possesses a significant trade advantage thanks to its geographical position.
Gergerli emphasized that the country is in a position to sell goods to a geography of 2.5 billion people within a 4-hour flight distance.

Touching upon changes in the global economy, Gergerli drew attention to the fact that China has become a major power in production and trade.
It was stated that countries need to focus on elements such as technology, speed, and efficiency alongside cost in competition.

Current developments in exchange rates and the gold market were discussed and examined in detail at the summit.
It was conveyed that the exchange rate should not be evaluated alone, but together with inflation, production, and export balances.
