Turkey's July LPG Import Figures and Sector Data Announced

The Liquefied Petroleum Gases Market Sector Report for July, published by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), revealed Turkey's latest energy trade balances.

Import Data and Countries with the Highest Purchases

Turkey's LPG imports decreased by 4.6 percent in July compared to the same month of the previous year, totaling 302,830 tons.

During this import process carried out by refinery and distributor license holders, the countries from which the most purchases were made were Algeria, the USA, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, and Greece, respectively.

Export Growth and Destinations

Total LPG exports carried out by refinery and distributor license holders in July showed a 32.9 percent increase compared to the same period of the previous year.

During this period, the export volume was recorded at 51,295 tons, with Turkey making these shipments to 9 different countries and regions.

Production Volume and Market Share Distribution

Total LPG production across the country increased by 7.2 percent in July, reaching 95,793 tons and contributing to the domestic market.

While total LPG sales made by distributor license holders in July were calculated as 354,222 tons, autogas ranked first in sales with an 82.5 percent market share.
