Turkey's Position Against Grey List Risk Registered by FATF Report
The Financial Action Task Force 5th Round Mutual Evaluation Report has been published, and Turkey's technical compliance and effectiveness results in the fight against financial crimes have been shared with the public.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced that, according to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) 5th Round Mutual Evaluation Report, Turkey's absence of grey list risk has been officially registered.

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance made comprehensive assessments regarding the 5th Round Mutual Evaluation Report published on the FATF website.
Legislative Infrastructure and Institutional Capacity
The report examined in detail the institutional capacity and legislative infrastructure in the fields of combating money laundering, predicate offenses, terrorist financing, and the proliferation of weapons.
Technical Compliance and Recommendation Results
As a result of the evaluation regarding technical compliance, Turkey achieved significant success by being found fully compliant with 38 of FATF's 40 recommendations.
Achievement Ratings in Effectiveness Criteria
In the evaluation conducted in terms of effectiveness, the country was rated as substantially effective in 3 out of 11 immediate outcomes, and moderately effective in 8.
Registered Status Against Grey List Risk
The statement emphasized that Turkey has no strategic deficiencies and, accordingly, the absence of a grey list risk was explicitly registered by FATF.
Future Strategy Documents and Targets
Steps to be taken in the upcoming period will be continued without interruption within the framework of relevant strategy documents and with the joint contributions of all institutions and organizations.
