Turkish Airlines Announces August Traffic Results
According to the data announced by the company, significant growth was recorded in passenger volume and occupancy rates showed an increase in the eighth month of the year.
According to the August traffic results shared by Turkish Airlines, the total number of passengers increased by 5.6 percent compared to the same period of last year.

Turkish Airlines shared its air traffic results for August with the public. According to the disclosed data, the company's total number of passengers reached the level of 10 million in this period.
Change in Occupancy Rate
Occupancy rates also drew attention in the operational results achieved in the eighth month of the year. In the same period, the passenger load factor was recorded at 88 percent with a 1.3 percentage point improvement on an annual basis.
Eight-Month Period Results
Performance in the eight-month period covering January and August has also become clear. The total number of passengers increased by 5.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, rising to 64 million people.

An increase in occupancy rates was also observed in the cumulative data covering the whole year. The passenger occupancy rate for this period stood at 84.7 percent, representing a 2-point increase compared to the same period of last year.
