Share in Total Exports
Turkey's total exports in the same period increased by 4 percent compared to the same period of last year, reaching $185 billion 6 million 234 thousand.
The share of the automotive sector in Turkey's total exports was recorded at 14.7 percent.
Top Export Destinations
In the January-August period, the country to which the most exports were made was Germany with $4 billion 441.3 million.
Germany was followed respectively by France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Spain, with France standing out in value-based increases.
Highlights by Province
Evaluated on a provincial basis, the province where the automotive sector realized the most exports was Kocaeli with $8 billion.
Kocaeli was followed by the provinces of Bursa, Istanbul, Sakarya, and Ankara.
