The General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey will begin its session on Tuesday, October 6 to discuss the Turkish Red Crescent Law Proposal, while Central Bank Governor Fatih Karahan will deliver a comprehensive economic presentation at the Plan and Budget Committee.

Details of the Kızılay Law Proposal

The law proposal prepared to enable the Turkish Red Crescent Association to carry out activities within its mandate in a more effective structure will be debated in the TBMM General Assembly. With the proposal, Kızılay's rights, powers, exemptions, and operational structure will be reorganized.

International Aid and Compensation Rights

With the regulation, the Turkish Red Crescent will be positioned as the sole authorized organization regarding the receipt and utilization of international aid. Furthermore, cash compensation will be paid to personnel serving during extraordinary periods, disasters, wars, and conflicts.

Presentation by the Central Bank Governor

CBRT Governor Fatih Karahan will make an informative presentation to members of parliament at the TBMM Plan and Budget Committee within the framework of global developments, the Turkish economy, inflation, and monetary policy.

Committee Agenda and Group Meetings

The Law Proposal on Foreign Digital Accommodation Platforms will be addressed in the parliament's committee on public works, reconstruction, transportation, and tourism, while political parties' group meetings will be held in the early days of the week.
