Turkmenistan is celebrating the 35th anniversary of its independence with a comprehensive economic exhibition held in the capital, Ashgabat. Opened at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event highlights the country's economic development, domestic production capacity, and vision for the future.

Broad Sectoral Participation and Promotion

The event, which opened its doors at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the capital Ashgabat, showcased the economic level the country has reached and its vision for the future. Bringing together public institutions and private sector representatives, the organization presented investments in many fields ranging from energy and industry to agriculture and high technology.

Strategic Projects and the City of Arkadag

Natural gas projects, giant transportation investments, electronic devices produced with domestic resources, and textile products were presented to the appreciation of visitors. The scale model of the modern train station under construction in the city of Arkadag, built with a smart city concept, was among the most popular projects of the exhibition.

Emphasis on Private Sector and Domestic Production

Business world representatives speaking at the exhibition drew attention to the distance covered under the leadership of the private sector in recent years. Maksat Ibragimov, Chairman of the Hind Gush Community, stated that significant developments have taken place in the food industry in the 35th year of independence, and that they produce 75 varieties of products from turkey meat in their country and export them abroad.

Private entrepreneur Jennet Allamova emphasized that production capacity and product diversity have increased exponentially thanks to the environment of trust provided during the independence period, stating that the exhibition reveals the distance covered by their country in the economic field.

Message from President Berdimuhamedov

Publishing a message on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition, Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that they continue with determination towards the goals of diversifying the country's industry, encouraging domestic production, and increasing the export volume. Berdimuhamedov expressed that the solid economic foundation established over the past 35 years will provide the greatest strength to the projects in the new development period.
