TURKSTAT Announces Agricultural Input and Domestic Producer Price Indices
According to TurkStat data, the Agricultural-Input Price Index increased by 27.62% year-on-year in July, while the SP-PPI rose by 32.60% annually in August.
According to economic data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the Agricultural Input Price Index recorded a monthly increase of 0.20% in July 2026. The Domestic Producer Price Index for Exports, on the other hand, rose by 3.61% in August 2026 compared to the previous month.
Changes in the Agricultural Input Price Index
According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the Agricultural-Input Price Index showed an increase of 0.20% in the July 2026 period compared to the previous month. The annual increase in the index was recorded at 27.62%.
Price Movements of Main Groups
In July, the goods and services used in agriculture index decreased by 0.01% compared to the previous month, while the goods and services contributing to agricultural investment index showed an increase of 1.48%.
Highest and Lowest Rates in Sub-Groups
While the sub-group with the highest annual change was fertilizers and soil improvers at 33.07%, the highest monthly increase occurred in the energy and lubricants group at 4.82%.
Domestic Producer Price Index for Exports Data
The Domestic Producer Price Index for Exports showed an increase of 3.61% in the August 2026 period compared to the previous month. In the same period, the annual increase stood at 32.60%.
