During the official visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Berlin, it was announced that an additional investment of 40 billion euros will be made in the German economy.

A New Step in Economic Relations

Within the scope of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's visit to Germany, significant contacts were held to strengthen economic and political ties between the two countries.

Additional Package of 40 Billion Euros

UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Sultan Ahmed al-Jaber announced in Berlin that his country will make an additional investment of 40 billion euros in the German economy.

It was stated that the newly announced financing package will be added to the UAE's existing 34 billion euros of investments in Germany.

Focus on Energy and Digital Infrastructure

It was reported that the new investment package will be directed towards ensuring energy supply security, strengthening supply chains, and data centers with a capacity of approximately 1 gigawatt.

Signed Commercial Agreements

Within the framework of the official visit, 29 commercial memorandums of understanding and contracts with a total value exceeding 9.356 billion euros were signed.

Additionally, a declaration of intent was signed regarding the establishment of the Germany-UAE Investment Council to institutionalize economic cooperation between the two countries.
