The United Arab Emirates announced that it plans to invest €40 billion in various sectors in Germany, primarily industry, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and energy. The investment plan aims to strengthen the long-term economic partnership between the two countries.

Of the announced total investment of €40 billion, €10 billion is planned to be directed to Germany's Bavaria state, with this step aiming to increase cooperation in strategic sectors.

Investment Council and Memoranda

The visit was announced as part of the official contacts made by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Germany, and steps were taken to ensure the coordination of public and private sector investments.

In this context, a joint declaration of intent was signed to establish the Germany-UAE Investment Council to ensure the coordination of public and private sector investments.

Commercial relations were deepened by signing 29 commercial memoranda of understanding and contracts with a total value exceeding €9.356 billion between the companies of the two countries.
