US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump attended the memorial ceremony organized by the Department of Defense at the Pentagon on the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. Following the individual reading of the names of those who lost their lives on the plane that crashed into the Pentagon building and within the building, Trump took the podium to deliver a speech.

Stating that nearly 3,000 US citizens lost their lives in the attacks, Trump expressed that the sacred oath made a quarter-century ago is reiterated and the victims will never be forgotten.
