Competing in the 48-kilogram category at the Para Taekwondo Turkish Championship held at the Ankara Taha Akgül Sports Hall in February 2026, Sevim Nur Türkmen left her opponents behind to win the title of Turkish champion.

Thanks to her superior performance in this important organization, the successful athlete earned the right to be selected for the national team squad, opening a brand-new international chapter in her career.

Preparations for the World Championship in Korea
