Starting the new day with an increase and reaching the 49.14 level, USD/TRY focused markets on the non-farm payrolls data to be announced in the US.

Latest Status in Exchange Rates

USD/TRY, after closing the day above the previous close at 49.0133, stands at 49.1450 with a 0.1 percent increase as of 09.40.

At the same minutes, EUR/TRY continues to trade at 55.3750 with a 0.3 percent increase, and GBP/TRY at 64.9990 with a 0.2 percent increase.

Global Markets and the Dollar Index

The dollar index, which saw its highest level since April 2025 at 102.2 yesterday, is at the 101.9 level today, 0.1 percent below.

While the rise of the ISM prices paid index in the US to 77.9 increased inflationary concerns, fiscal concerns originating from France also led to a decline in the Euro.

Data Tracked by the Markets

Analysts state that the second meeting of the Fund Coordination Committee will be closely monitored domestically.

Abroad, the US non-farm payrolls data and the busy data agenda in the Eurozone are in the focus of the markets.
