Weekly Decline Recorded in Central Bank's Total Reserves
In the week of September 11, the reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey decreased by over 5.5 billion dollars in total, driven by declines in foreign exchange and gold items.
According to the weekly money and bank statistics announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, total reserves showed a significant decrease in the week ending September 11 compared to the previous week.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey shared its weekly money and bank statistics with the public and announced the current financial data.
Change in Gross Foreign Exchange Reserves
According to the released data, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves declined by experiencing a drop of 1 billion 962 million dollars.
Gross foreign exchange assets, which were at the level of 70 billion 406 million dollars the previous week, dropped to 68 billion 444 million dollars.
Decline in Gold Reserves
During the weekly period in question, gold reserves also showed a downward trend and played a role in the decrease of total assets.
Gold reserves decreased by 3 billion 561 million dollars, falling from 113 billion 841 million dollars to 110 billion 280 million dollars.
Latest Status of Total Reserves
As a result of these developments, the Central Bank's total reserves decreased by 5 billion 523 million dollars in the week of September 11 compared to the previous week.
The total reserve amount recorded a drop from 184 billion 247 million dollars to 178 billion 724 million dollars.
