Weekly market data released: US dollar gained, stock market lost
Weekly closing data in the markets has become clear. The BIST 100 index declined while the US dollar recorded an increase.
While the BIST 100 index completed the week with a 8.18 percent decrease at 13,284.42 points, the US dollar gained 0.36 percent in value to rise to 48.7810 liras.

The BIST 100 index saw a weekly low of 12,817.01 and a high of 14,355.46 points during the week.
The index completed the week at 13,284.42 points, 8.18 percent below the previous week's close.
Changes in gold prices
The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar decreased by 0.06 percent this week to 6,826 liras.
While the selling price of Republican gold fell by 0.09 percent to 44,450 liras, quarter gold dropped by 0.14 percent to 11,174 liras.
Weekly status of exchange rates
This week, the US dollar showed an increase of 0.36 percent, rising to 48.7810 liras.
Euro, on the other hand, decreased by 0.91 percent to 55.9580 liras.
Investment and pension funds
Investment funds generally lost 2.57 percent in value this week, while pension funds experienced a value loss of 1.74 percent.
Among the investment fund categories, Money Market Funds were the highest gainer this week with a return of 0.65 percent.
