The Ministry of Trade and five leading e-commerce platforms have signed a comprehensive five-year cooperation protocol to facilitate women's cooperatives' access to digital markets and increase their competitive power.
Scope and Objective of the Protocol
An official cooperation protocol was signed between the Ministry of Trade and Hepsiburada, N11, PttAVM, Pazarama, and Trendyol to facilitate women's cooperatives' access to digital markets.
This strategic step aims to increase the competitive power in e-commerce of cooperatives whose members are mostly women and which value women's labor.
Strategic Plan Basis
This important cooperation protocol was meticulously prepared within the framework of the 2025-2029 Turkey Cooperativism Strategy and Action Plan.
Within the scope of the plan, it is aimed to strengthen the effectiveness of women's cooperatives in economic life through digital channels.
Free Registration and Commission Advantages
Within the scope of the protocol, women's cooperatives will be able to register completely free of charge on the e-commerce platforms that are parties to the agreement.
The commission rate will be applied as 0 percent in the first 6-month period, and it will be only 1 percent in the following 4.5-year period.
Five-Year Support Period
The total support period to be provided to women's cooperatives within the framework of the agreement will reach 5 years uninterruptedly.
Thanks to this long-term planning, women's cooperatives will be ensured to acquire a permanent and strong place in digital markets.
Visibility and Promotion Support
Cooperative products will be granted special visibility opportunities through homepage banners, special category areas, and social media campaigns.
In addition, special visibility areas will be created with the Cooperative Products tag, and special campaign periods will be organized for cooperatives.
