Trendyol Art is expanding the route of art and contributing to the ecosystem with its support for major organizations such as Contemporary Istanbul, BASE, and the 61st Venice Art Biennale during the autumn culture and arts season.
Trendyol Art and the Culture Ecosystem
Established in 2021 to make contemporary art accessible to everyone, Trendyol Art provides young and independent artists with a space to exhibit their works digitally.
Today, the platform hosts nearly a thousand works by more than 150 artists, aiming to allow art enthusiasts to access art independently of time and place.
Voyage Installation at Contemporary Istanbul
One of Trendyol Art's stops in the autumn will be Contemporary Istanbul, taking place at Tersane Istanbul between September 23-27.
Created specially by multidisciplinary artist Balkan Karışman, the digital installation titled “Voyage” will meet art enthusiasts for the first time with the platform's support.
The Golden Horn's Image Will Change Through Interaction
Opening the real-time image of the Golden Horn to interaction with the viewer's presence, “Voyage” will trace the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds.
As the viewer approaches the work, the Golden Horn landscape will change, fracture, and reshape; thus, the viewer will transform into an active part of the work.
Support for Young Artists with BASE
As part of its autumn program, Trendyol Art is among the supporters of BASE, one of Turkey's most comprehensive exhibitions for newly graduated artists.
Having undertaken the main partnership for the past four years, the platform continues its support this year aimed at increasing the visibility of young artists.
Greece in the Guest Country Program
Hosted with the contribution of Trendyol Art, the BASE Guest Country program is welcoming Greece this year, bringing together young artists from both sides of the Aegean.
The program aims to strengthen cultural interaction and new encounters among young artists.
International Contribution to the Venice Art Biennale
Carrying its support for the art ecosystem in Turkey to the international stage, Trendyol Art has contributed to the 61st Venice Art Biennale.
The platform is supporting Nilbar Güreş's exhibition titled “I Kiss Your Eyes,” realized under the coordination of İKSV and running through November.
