Importance of Kocaeli and Environmental Projects

Drawing attention to the Marmara Sea Protection Action Plan, Kurum stated that 2.4 million cubic meters of sludge were removed from the bottom of the İzmit Gulf through bottom sludge cleaning.

Stating that Kocaeli is a city that has experienced an earthquake, Kurum noted that the 1999 earthquake showed how vital preparation, strong institutions, and rapid intervention are.
He expressed that the disaster of the century once again showed that urban transformation in Turkey is not a choice, but an obligation.
Cedit Neighborhood Housing Deliveries
Stating that 1,105 independent sections with parks, green areas, and social amenities have been completed in the center of İzmit, Kurum announced that contracts will be signed shortly and key handovers will begin on Monday.
Regarding the debts, he emphasized that the June 2023 criteria are taken as a basis and no additional price increase will be made.
