Free Trade Agreement Between Turkey and Ukraine Enters into Force
A new era aiming to increase the trade volume between the two countries to 10 billion dollars and covering various sectoral regulations has officially begun.
According to the statement made by the Ministry of Trade, the Free Trade Agreement signed between Turkey and Ukraine entered into force as of October 1, 2026.

A new era in commercial relations between Turkey and Ukraine has officially begun, and the Free Trade Agreement signed between the parties entered into force as of October 1, 2026.
Customs Duty Calendar
According to statements made by the Ministry, customs duty regulations regarding trade in goods will be implemented starting from January 1, 2027.
Trade Volume Targets
With this agreement, previously signed on February 3, 2022, it is aimed to increase the total trade volume between the two countries to 10 billion dollars in the short term.
Comprehensive Sectoral Regulations
This important agreement that has entered into force covers not only trade in goods, but also areas such as services, investments, e-commerce, trade facilitation, and customs cooperation.
Transportation and Competition
Within the framework of the agreement, bilateral and transit transportations will be ensured to be carried out without quotas, which will provide Turkish and Ukrainian businesses with a competitive advantage against third-country suppliers.
